It is with a very heavy heart that I have to write that our dearest Benji (Babrees Benjamin D'Israeli) was put to sleep today to save further suffering. Benji was such a true gentleman. We didn't show him much because as an adult he hated showing, but those time we did he usually did very well, and had won many Best Puppies and Best of Breeds.
Benji was out of our first litter of Canaan Dogs, and was one of our more "special" Canaan Dogs. He was liked by everybody, but we were especially proud when Myrna Shiboleth said that at that time she thought him to be probably the best Canaan Dog in the UK.
He is sorely missed by all. Run free dear Benji, along with your sister Beth and mum Evie.
Sad… his genes is in our Caspian who he was great grandfather to. RIP Benji!!!
